Mission
A Roof Over Your Head supports and assists clients to secure safe, accessible and affordable housing. They provide assistance in accessing and completing application forms, and help with navigating support services and resources through collaboration with various community-based partners. They provide advocacy and support to clients regarding tenancy issues and housing placements, and educate and support tenants and landlords regarding tenancy issues involving the Residential Tenancies Act and Eviction Prevention.
Project
Creating emergency and supportive housing in rural Nova Scotia. This project is in the pre-development phase.
In the Accelerator, they will
Complete and analyze the feasibility study and move forward with a site purchase, as well as complete a risk assessment, begin community engagement and secure financing.
