Deeply committed to reconciliation and environmental stewardship, and rooted in a partnership with the town and a below-market housing agency, artsPlace invites residents and visitors to discover the heart of this unique mountain town where inspiration flows as freely as the mountain air.
Project
artsPlace aims to serve as the bedrock of the local creative community through the development of a new community-focused cultural hub, where all people can come together to explore their passions and uncover their creative potential. Welcoming and inclusive, it will offer flexible and dynamic spaces with the appropriate facilities that meet the community’s needs and support its aspirations for the future.
In the Accelerator, they will
Conduct a community engagement needs assessment; develop an in-depth functional program and governance plan; and develop a feasibility study for the project.
