Mission
Fusion Rise seeks to empower marginalized communities by providing skilled trades training, employment opportunities, and hands-on experience in renovating and building affordable homes, creating both jobs and housing for a stronger future.
Project
Fusion Rise, in partnership with the Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria, is developing a trades training and employment hub by converting a section of ICA’s property into a dedicated training and social enterprise space. The Accelerator will help us refine the model, strengthen partnerships, and build sustainable structures to scale this initiative across Vancouver Island and BC.
In the Accelerator, they will
Aim to overcome challenges in pre-development and financing, build replicable models that combine housing and employment pathways, and strengthen partnerships with municipalities, Indigenous communities, and funders to move projects forward with confidence, as well as generally strengthen their capacity to deliver affordable housing while integrating trades training and social enterprise into real estate projects.
