Mission
Threshold Housing opens doors for youth and prevents adult homelessness. Threshold serves youth at-risk-of or experiencing homelessness, aging out of care, or fleeing violence in the home in Victoria, BC. These young adults need a place to call home and people who believe in them. Threshold meets those needs by offering safe housing, community and support to help youth heal, learn, grow and create brighter futures. Threshold Housing Society’s mission is to make instances of youth homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring, through providing safe homes to build bright futures.
Project
Threshold Housing is working with Foundry Westshore to provide housing, health care services, and wrap-around care to vulnerable youth in the Westshore area. Their goal is to purchase land and develop a property to serve both organizations’ missions by developing 15-30 units of housing and 10,000 square feet of office, health care space, and counselling rooms.

Identify next steps for site acquisition, including developing a business plan, funding package and creating a design concept / massing study.
