Alexandra Lambropoulos
Project Officer
Alexandra Lambropoulos, is a Project Officer at the Infrastructure Institute, and urban planner holding a Master of Science in Planning (MSc Pl) from the University of Toronto, specializing in community economic development. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, majoring in Human Geography and Urban Studies, with a minor in GIS.
Within the Institute, she leverages her experience in cultural planning, where she coordinated placemaking projects on main streets across Southern Ontario as part BIA’s economic recovery strategies. Her role involves driving knowledge mobilization initiatives and co-leading the Institute’s award-winning exhibition projects. Additionally, she provides support for the Infrastructure Institute’s Social Purpose Real Estate Accelerator and Creative Mixed-Use Initiative. Alexandra is interested in researching integrated approaches to urban planning and policy that foster vibrant communities, sustainable cities, equitable systems, and resilient infrastructure. These compelling themes are thoroughly explored in her podcast on African urbanism, ‘Urban Limitrophe‘ and multimedia platform, ‘Untitled Planning.’
