Description

OCAD Onsite Gallery / Studio Condominiums integrates an 8,000 square foot professional gallery and platform for art, design and digital media for OCAD University at street level within the nine-storey podium of a 317-unit condominium building that has two towers (31 and 41 storeys). The gallery space is intended to act as a multi-functional space for news, events, reception, gallery openings, research, and an art study area.

User Interaction/Partnership Framework

The project was developed by Aspen Ridge Homes. ICC Property Management is the operator, along with OCAD.

Costs / Funding

Onsite Gallery is funded in part by the Government of Canada’s Canada Cultural Spaces Fund at Canadian Heritage, the City of Toronto through Section 37 agreement and Aspen Ridge Homes.
