The Organization
Founded in 1987. Located in Vaughan Ontario. Hesperus Village provides supportive and affordable housing for seniors. 50% of the building is rent assisted or rent-geared to income. Partnerships for housing with Ministry of Health, York Region, CMHA York Region and East Sandgate and Yellow Brick House Shelter. A family medical practice rents an office on site and North York Seniors Center provides assisted living services to eligible residents. Their mission is to provide beautiful, affordable, sustainable elder living, inspired by anthroposophy, where both individual and community flourish through a caring, social, spiritual and cultural life
The Project
They have vacant land on their property that they wish to develop. They will be working through this project to build alignment in the organization on what they are going to build, who they are going to partner with, how much it is going to cost and how they might fund it.
