North York Arts Mission: To uplift and expand the arts in North York by investing in artists, inspiring community members, and engaging with partners and businesses.
The Project
North York Arts is eager to expand its footprint in North York with a street-level, accessible, multipurpose art space. This space will be a hub for activity and feature a public exhibition area, separate space for community are programming and gathering as well as dedicated office space for the North York Arts staff and partner organizations. Arts and culture spaces are dwindling in Toronto, they believe that making space for the arts is important for the vibrancy of the arts sector and the community at large.
