Phat Le
Architectural Designer
Phat Le is the architectural designer for the Infrastructure Institute at the School of Cities, and a sessional lecturer at the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at the University of Toronto. Le’s research explores methods of multigenerational housing and urban collectivity in relation to queer placemaking and Asian diasporic communities. Le holds a master’s degree in architecture from the Daniels Faculty, where he is the recipient of the Kuwabara-Jackman Architecture Thesis Gold Medal, and the Irving Grossman Prize for their master’s thesis “Cut Fruit Means I Love You” – innovating on how architecture can respond to community power and control.
