Bridging gaps is a collaborative project with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) and Social Venture Connexion (SvX). It outlines the existing capacity and capital gaps in the affordable housing developer journey, with recommendations on changes to the current system of housing delivery to better optimize ecosystem players. The project also builds a case for wrap-around services that can prove critical to the effective delivery for affordable housing. This includes matchmaking services and the potential use of a digital platform that matches private investors to affordable housing projects.
